Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Matt White of El Reno, Oklahoma for proclaiming December “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Oklahoma, publicly-owned general aviation airports support over $693 million in total annual economic activity.
“Mayor White’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to the City of El Reno and the State of Oklahoma,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the City of El Reno for recognizing this vital industry.”
