“Local airports and aviation businesses across Washington support skilled jobs that boost the economies of communities large and small,” said Timothy R. Obitts, Executive Vice President and General Counsel of the National Air Transportation Association. “NATA and our member companies across the state applaud Governor Inslee for highlighting this important industry and the value that it provides to the Evergreen State.”

    According to the proclamation:

“General aviation plays a vital role in our state’s response to emergencies and natural disasters, and many communities depend on it for the continued flow of commerce and tourists.”
