    The Alliance for Aviation Across America Commends Tennessee Governor Haslam for Declaring March ‘General Aviation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Governor Haslam for proclaiming March “General Aviation Month.”

    According to the Governor’s proclamation:

    “The state of Tennessee has a significant interest in the continued vitality of General Aviation, aerospace, aircraft manufacturing, educational institutions and aviation organizations and community airports and airport operators…Many communities in Tennessee depend heavily on general aviation and community airports for the continued flow of commerce, tourists and visitors to our state.”

    Formed in 2007, the Alliance for Aviation Across America is a non-profit, non-partisan coalition of over 6,300 individuals representing businesses, agricultural groups, FBO’s, small airports, elected officials, charitable organizations, and leading business and aviation groups that support the interests of the general aviation community across various public policy issues.
