    The Alliance Commends Mayor Anderson for Declaring August ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Bob Anderson of International Falls, Minnesota for proclaiming August “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Minnesota, general aviation contributes over $5.3 billion to the state’s economy annually.

    “Mayor Anderson’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to the City of International Falls and the State of Minnesota,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the City of International Falls for recognizing this vital industry.”
