    The Alliance Commends Buena Vista Mayor Pro-Tem Lacy for Declaring July ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Pro-Tem Duff Lacy, of Buena Vista, Colorado for proclaiming July “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Colorado, general aviation contributes over $2.4 billion to the state’s economy annually.

    “Mayor Pro-Tem Lacy’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Buena Vista and the state of Colorado,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor Pro-Tem and the town of Buena Vista for recognizing this vital industry.”
