The Alliance Commends Lamar Mayor Stagner for Declaring June ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Roger Stagner of Lamar, Colorado for proclaiming June “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Colorado, general aviation contributes over $2.4 billion to the state’s economy annually.
“Mayor Stagner’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Lamar and the state of Colorado,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Lamar for recognizing this vital industry.”
