The Alliance Commends Yerington Mayor Dini for Declaring June ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor George Dini of Yerington, Nevada for proclaiming June “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Nevada, general aviation contributes over $275 million to the state’s economy annually.
“Mayor Dini’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Yerington and the state of Nevada,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Yerington for recognizing this vital industry.”
