The Alliance Commends Casper Mayor Powell for Declaring June ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Charlie Powell of Casper, Wyoming for proclaiming June “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Wyoming, general aviation airports contribute over $73 million in economic impact annually.
“Mayor Powell’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Casper and the state of Wyoming,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Casper for recognizing this vital industry.”
