    The Alliance Commends Sioux Falls Mayor Huether for Declaring June ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Mike Huether of Sioux Falls, South Dakota for proclaiming June “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In South Dakota, the aviation industry supports nearly $800 million in business sales.

    “Mayor Huether’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Sioux Falls and the state of South Dakota,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Sioux Falls for recognizing this vital industry.”
