Organizations Issue Letter Urging Congressional Oversight of the National Aviation System
Washington, DC— Today, the Alliance for Aviation Across America, League of Rural Voters, National Farmers Union, Air Care Alliance, and National Agricultural Aviation Association issued a letter concerning upcoming reauthorization of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The letter specifically highlights the need to protect the interests of small airports and rural communities in the process, and urges Congress to retain oversight of the national aviation system.

Formed in 2007, the Alliance for Aviation Across America is a non-profit, non-partisan coalition of more than 6,300 individuals representing businesses, agricultural groups FBO’s, small airports, elected officials, charitable organizations, and leading business and aviation groups that support the interest of the general aviation community across various public policy issues.
