    The Alliance Commends Omaha Mayor Stothert for Declaring May ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Jean Stothert of Omaha, Nebraska for proclaiming May “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Nebraska, general aviation has an economic output of $1.2 billion annually.

    “Mayor Stothert’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Omaha and the state of Nebraska,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Omaha for recognizing this vital industry.”
