The Alliance Commends North Platte Mayor Livingston for Declaring May ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Dwight Livingston of North Platte, Nebraska for proclaiming May “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Nebraska, general aviation has an economic output of $1.2 billion annually.
“Mayor Livingston’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to North Platte and the state of Nebraska,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of North Platte for recognizing this vital industry.”
