The Alliance Commends Grand Island Mayor Jensen for Declaring May ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Jeremy Jensen of Grand Island, Nebraska for proclaiming May “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Nebraska, general aviation has an economic output of $1.2 billion annually.
“Mayor Jensen’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Grand Island and the state of Nebraska,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Grand Island for recognizing this vital industry.”
