    The Alliance Commends Palatka Mayor Hill for Declaring April ‘Aviation Appreciation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Terrill Hill of Palatka, Florida for proclaiming April “Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Florida, general aviation airports contribute more than $7.7 billion to the state’s economy.

    “Mayor Hill’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Palatka and the state of Florida,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Palatka for recognizing this vital industry.”
