The Alliance Commends Boca Raton Mayor Haynie for Declaring April ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Susan Haynie of Boca Raton, Florida for proclaiming April “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Florida, general aviation airports contribute more than $7.7 billion to the state’s economy.
“Mayor Haynie’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Boca Raton and the state of Florida,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Boca Raton for recognizing this vital industry.”
