    The Alliance Commends Jefferson City Mayor Struemph for Declaring April ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’

     Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Eric Struemph of Jefferson City, Missouri for proclaiming April “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Missouri, general aviation airports support an economic impact of over $857 million.

    “Mayor Struemph’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Jefferson City and the state of Missouri,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and Jefferson City for recognizing this vital industry.”
