    The Alliance Commends Baton Rouge Mayor-President Holden for Declaring March ‘General Appreciation Aviation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor-President Kip Holden of Baton Rouge, Louisiana for proclaiming March “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Louisiana, general aviation contributes over $2 billion to the state’s GDP annually.

    “Mayor-President Holden’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Baton Rouge and the state of Louisiana,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Baton Rouge for recognizing this vital industry.”
