The Alliance Commends North Dakota Governor for Declaring March ‘Aviation Month’

Washington, DC— The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended North Dakota Governor Jack Dalrymple for declaring March “Aviation Month.” In North Dakota, general aviation accounts for $856 million in total economic output.

“We thank Governor Dalrymple for recognizing the critical role of general aviation and community airports throughout the state of North Dakota,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “General aviation supports businesses, drives commerce and supports local communities by connecting residents with health care, disaster relief, blood transport and many other services across the nation.”
