    The Alliance Commends Palm Springs Mayor Pougnet for Declaring February ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Steve Pougnet of Palm Springs, California for proclaiming February “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In California, the total economic output of general aviation is over $30 billion.

    “Mayor Pougnet’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Palm Springs and the state of California,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Palm Springs for recognizing this vital industry.”
