    The Alliance Commends Pendleton Mayor Houk for Declaring February ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Phillip Houk of Pendleton, Oregon for proclaiming February “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Oregon, the total economic output of general aviation is over $3 billion.

    “Mayor Houk’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Pendleton and the state of Oregon,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Pendleton for recognizing this vital industry.”
