    The Alliance Commends Bingen Mayor Barnes for Declaring February ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Betty Barnes of Bingen, Washington for proclaiming February “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Washington, general aviation contributes $3.18 billion to the state’s economy.

    “Mayor Barnes’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Bingen and the state of Washington,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Bingen for recognizing this vital industry.”
