The Alliance Commends Concord Mayor Padgett for Declaring February ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Scott Padgett of Concord, North Carolina for proclaiming February “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In North Carolina, general aviation contributes over $2 billion to the state’s economy.
“Mayor Padgett’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Concord and the state of North Carolina,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Concord for recognizing this vital industry.”
