The Alliance Commends Charlotte Mayor Clodfelter for Declaring February ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Dan Clodfelter of Charlotte, North Carolina for proclaiming February “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In North Carolina, general aviation contributes over $2 billion to the state’s economy.
“Mayor Clodfelter’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Charlotte and the state of North Carolina,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Charlotte for recognizing this vital industry.”
