    The Alliance Commends Zanesville Mayor Tilton for Declaring December ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Jeff Tilton of Zanesville, Ohio for proclaiming December “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Ohio, general aviation contributes $1.7 billion to the state’s economy.

    “Mayor Tilton’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Zanesville and the state of Ohio,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Zanesville for recognizing this vital industry.”
