    The Alliance Commends Kaua’i County Mayor Carvalho for Declaring December ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Bernard Carvalho of Kaua’i County for proclaiming December “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Hawaii, general aviation contributes $412 million to the state’s economy.

    “Mayor Carvalho’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Kaua’i County and the state of Hawaii,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and Kaua’i County for recognizing this vital industry.”
