The Alliance Commends Hawaii County Mayor Kenoi for Declaring December ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Billy Kenoi of Hawaii County for proclaiming December “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Hawaii, general aviation contributes $412 million to the state’s economy.
“Mayor Kenoi’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Hawaii County and the state of Hawaii,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and Hawaii County for recognizing this vital industry.”
