    The Alliance Commends Wichita Falls Mayor Barham for Declaring November ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Glenn Barham of Wichita Falls, Texas for proclaiming November “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Texas, general aviation contributes an estimated $14.6 billion to the state’s economy.

    “Mayor Barham’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Wichita Falls and the state of Texas,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Wichita Falls for recognizing this vital industry.”
