    The Alliance Commends Midland Mayor Morales for Declaring November ‘Aviation Appreciation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Jerry Morales of Midland, Texas for proclaiming November “Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Texas, general aviation contributes $14.6 billion to the state’s economy.

    “Mayor Morales’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Midland and the state of Texas,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Midland for recognizing this vital industry.”
