    The Alliance Commends Auburn Mayor Ham for Declaring November ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Bill Ham of Auburn, Alabama for proclaiming November “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Alabama, general aviation contributes $1.7 billion to the state’s economy.

    “Mayor Ham’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Auburn and the state of Alabama,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Auburn for recognizing this vital industry.”
