    The Alliance Commends Tuscaloosa Mayor Maddox for Declaring November ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Walter Maddox of Tuscaloosa, Alabama for proclaiming November “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Alabama, general aviation contributes over $1.7 billion to the state’s economy.

    “Mayor Maddox’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Tuscaloosa and the state of Alabama,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Tuscaloosa for recognizing this vital industry.”
