The Alliance Commends Pottstown Mayor Valentine-Thomas for Declaring October ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Sharon Valentine-Thomas of Pottstown, Pennsylvania for proclaiming October “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Pennsylvania, general aviation contributes $1.3 billion to the state’s economy annually.
“Mayor Valentine-Thomas’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Pottstown and the state of Pennsylvania,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the Borough of Pottstown for recognizing this vital industry.”
