    The Alliance Commends Talbot County Council for Declaring September ‘Maryland General Aviation Appreciation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended the County Council of Talbot County, Maryland for proclaiming September “Maryland General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Maryland, general aviation contributes over $550 million annually to the state’s economy.

    “The County Council’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Talbot County and the state of Maryland,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the County Council and Talbot County for recognizing this vital industry.”
