The Alliance Commends Anchorage Mayor Sullivan for Declaring September ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Dan Sullivan of Anchorage, Alaska for proclaiming September “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Alaska, general aviation contributes $400 million annually to the state’s economy.
“Mayor Sullivan’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Anchorage and the state of Alaska,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Anchorage for recognizing this vital industry.”
