    The Alliance Commends Great Falls Mayor Winters for Declaring August ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Michael Winters of Great Falls, Montana for proclaiming August “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Montana, general aviation contributes over $117 million annually to the state’s economy.

    “Mayor Winters’ proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Great Falls and the state of Montana,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Great Falls for recognizing this vital industry.”
