    The Alliance Commends Greenville Mayor White for Declaring August 17th-23rd ‘General Aviation Appreciation Week’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Knox White of Greenville, South Carolina for proclaiming August 17th-23rd 2014 “General Aviation Appreciation Week.” In South Carolina, general aviation contributes $417 million in economic activity.

    “Mayor White’s proclamation highlights to the public the economic benefits and valuable services that general aviation provides to Greenville and South Carolina,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Greenville for recognizing this important industry.”
