The Alliance Commends Wausau Mayor Tipple for Declaring August ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor James Tipple of Wausau, Wisconsin for proclaiming August “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Wisconsin, general aviation contributes over $694 million annually to the state’s economy.
“Mayor Tipple’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Wausau and the state of Wisconsin,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Wausau for recognizing this vital industry.”
