The Alliance Commends Wisconsin Rapids Mayor Vruwink for Declaring July 27th through August 2nd ‘General Aviation Appreciation Week’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Zachary Vruwink of Wisconsin Rapids for proclaiming July 27th through August 2nd “General Aviation Appreciation Week.” In Wisconsin, general aviation contributes over $694 million annually to the state’s economy.
“Mayor Vruwink’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Wisconsin Rapids and the state of Wisconsin,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city for recognizing this vital industry.”
