The Alliance Commends Greeley Mayor Norton for Declaring June ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Thomas Norton of Greeley, Colorado for proclaiming June “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Colorado, general aviation contributes over $2.1 billion annually to the state’s economy.
“Mayor Norton’s proclamation helps illustrate the economic benefits and valuable services that general aviation provides to Greeley and the state of Colorado,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Greeley for recognizing this important industry.”
