    The Alliance Commends Warsaw Mayor Thallemer for Declaring June ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Joseph Thallemer of Warsaw, Indiana for proclaiming June “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Indiana, general aviation contributes over $5.8 billion annually to the state’s economy, and supports over 32,000 jobs statewide.

    “Mayor Thallemer’s proclamation helps educate the public about the essential services and economic benefits that general aviation provides to Warsaw and the state of Indiana,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank Mayor Thallemer and the city of Warsaw for recognizing this vital industry.”
