    The Alliance Commends Casper Mayor Meyer for Declaring June ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Paul Meyer of Casper, Wyoming for proclaiming June 2014 “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Wyoming, general aviation contributes over $101 million annually to the state’s economy.

    “Mayor Paul Meyer’s proclamation serves to educate the public about the economic benefits and valuable services that general aviation provides to Casper and the state of Wyoming,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Casper for recognizing this important industry.”
