The Alliance Commends Lewiston Mayor Kleeburg for Declaring June ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Jim Kleeburg of Lewiston, Idaho for proclaiming June “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Idaho, general aviation contributes over $426 million annually to the state’s economy, and supports over 4,000 jobs statewide.
“Mayor Kleeburg’s proclamation serves to educate the public about the economic benefits and valuable services that general aviation provides to Lewiston and the state of Idaho,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank Mayor Kleeburg and the city of Lewiston for recognizing this important industry.”
