    The Alliance Commends Buffalo Mayor Brown for Declaring May ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Byron W. Brown of Buffalo, New York, for proclaiming May “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In New York, general aviation contributes over $1 billion annually to the state’s economy, as well as over 8,600 jobs statewide.

    “Mayor Brown’s proclamation helps illustrate the essential services and economic benefits that general aviation provides to Buffalo and the state of New York,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank Mayor Brown and the city of Buffalo for their part in recognizing this important industry.”
