    The Alliance Commends Oakdale Mayor Paul for Declaring May ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Pat Paul of Oakdale, California, for proclaiming May “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In California, general aviation contributes $18.2 billion annually to the state’s economy.

    “Mayor Paul’s proclamation is important in helping to educate the public about the essential services and economic benefit that general aviation provides to the state of California,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We thank Mayor Paul and the city of Oakdale for their recognition of the value of general aviation.”
