    The Alliance Commends Fairmont Chairperson Moses for Declaring May ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Chairperson of the Board of trustees of Fairmont, Nebraska Donald A. Moses, for proclaiming May “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Nebraska, general aviation contributes $721 million annually to the state’s economy.

    “Chairperson Moses’s proclamation is important in helping to educate the public about the essential services and economic benefit that general aviation provides to Fairmont and the state of Nebraska,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We thank Chairperson Moses and the Village of Fairmont for their recognition of the value of general aviation.”
