    The Alliance Commends Jefferson City Mayor Struemph for Declaring April ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Eric J. Struemph of Jefferson City, Missouri, for proclaiming April “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Missouri, general aviation contributes $857 million annually to the state’s economy, as well as over 7,400 jobs statewide.

    “Mayor Struemph’s proclamation helps illustrate the economic and other benefits general aviation provides to the state of Missouri,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank Mayor Struemph and the city of Jefferson City for their recognition of this important industry.”
