    The Alliance Commends Clare Mayor Humphrey for Declaring April ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
     

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Patrick Humphrey of Clare, Michigan, for proclaiming April “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Michigan, general aviation contributes $4.1 billion annually to the state’s economy.

    “Mayor Humphrey’s proclamation helps to educate the public about the economic and other benefits general aviation provides to the state of Michigan,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank Mayor Humphrey and the city of Clare for their part in recognizing the importance of general aviation.”
