    The Alliance Commends Minot Mayor Zimbelman for Declaring April ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’

     

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Curt Zimbelman, of Minot, North Dakota, for proclaiming April “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In North Dakota, general aviation contributes $1.6 billion million annually to the state’s economy.

     

    “Mayor Zimbelman’s proclamation helps to educate the public about the economic and other benefits general aviation provides to the state of North Dakota,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank Mayor Zimbelman and the city of Minot for their recognition of this important industry.”
