The Alliance Commends Brookings Mayor Ron Hedenskog for Declaring March ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Ron Hedenskog, of Brookings, Oregon, for proclaiming March “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Oregon, general aviation has an annual economic impact of $1.8 billion.
“Mayor Hedenskog’s proclamation helps to educate the public about the economic and other benefits general aviation provides to the state of Oregon,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank Mayor Hedeknsog and the city of Brookings for their recognition of this important industry.”
