    The Alliance Commends Gorham Board of Selectmen for Declaring March ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Paul R. Robitaille, William H. Jackson and Jeffrey Schall, the Board of Selectment of Gorham, New Hampshire for proclaiming March “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In New Hampshire, general aviation has an annual economic impact of $639 million.

    “This proclamation helps to educate the public about the economic and other benefits general aviation provides to the state of Oregon,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Board of Selectment and the city of Gorham for their recognition of this important industry.”
