    The Alliance Commends Claremont Mayor James C. Neilsen for Declaring March “General Aviation Appreciation Month”

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor James C. Neilsen, of Claremont, New Hampshire, for proclaiming March “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In New Hampshire, general aviation contributes $639 million annually to the state’s economy.

    “Mayor Neilsen’s proclamation helps to educate the public about the economic and other benefits general aviation provides to the state of New Hampshire,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank Mayor Neilsen and the city of Claremont for their recognition of this important industry.”
